NAME: ELITE FIGHT CLUB
STYLE: MMA
OPENED: MAY 2011
We are the remaining staff of the deleted and defunct UWA which was deleted by the older owner. We all have been in normal efeds for a long time, but we are looking to think outside the box and try something new. Thus, the MMA Based Fed.
We have a staff of 8 guys who all have very specific jobs and goals they want/need to complete each week to help things run smoothly. With such a heavy staff, we can easily promote each of these shows each week. As we grow, we will try two shows per week. Right now, to get started, we have minimal roleplay requirements.
/-ROLEPLAY REQUIREMENTS-\
- 1 Roleplays Per week
- 2 for PPVs
/-WEIGHT CLASSES-\
- Heavyweight (206lbs & Higher)
- Light Heavyweight (205lbs & Lower)
*Users can pick ANY person as their pic base
*Created fighters only
As stated earlier, we want to keep this MMA Fed as close to realistic as possible. So we have broken things down in the following manner.
/-FIGHT BREAKDOWN-\
- Each fight will be scheduled for Three 3 Minute Rounds.
- Winner can win in any round, of course.
- If two guys max out, and are really close, they go the full 3 rounds and go to the judges scorecards. At which point, we would each submit score from 1-10 for each roleplay they posted. Add them up, thats the winner by judges decision.
*THERE CAN BE DRAWS!
/-RANKINGS & POINTS-\
Fighters are given points for each win/loss/judges decision. These points determine the rankings and who will be given an opportunity to be the Fight Club Champion for each class.
WIN [+2]
LOSS [-1]
CHAMPIONSHIP WIN [+5]
CHAMPIONSHIP LOSS [-3]
CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENSE [+2]
PPV MATCH WIN [+5]
PPV MATCH LOSS [-5]
The best part is, you DO NOT have to fight someone within your class on every show. We can create grudges matches and problems between guys outside of their perspective classes. That's when we have the "Shoot" or a "Pit" fight. These matches can happen ANYWHERE! Further adding to the drama of the show, feud, and outcome. If we decide that both fighters are getting gas at the same station, and just get into an all out brawl, then so be it! Makes it more fun to write and to read!
/-FIGHT OPTIONS-\
- Rankings Fights
a) Fight within your weight class
b) Points applied to class ranking
c) Sanctioned match within the Octagon
- Pit Fight
a) Fight outside your weight class
b) No points applied to class ranking
c) Fight held at a location of the staffs choosing (Will find out when results are posted)
We are trying to give guys more options and topics to roleplay about other than just the typical smack talk roleplays we had in a normal wrestling efed. We feel that the MMA option opens up a broader range of topics such as:
- Rehabing Injuries
- The will/courage to continue fighting
- Family problems due to fighting
- Feuds
- Shoot/Pit fight outcomes
I think we have thought of a lot of things that will make this fun. The only thing we need now, is a great set of roleplayers interested in trying something new and seeing where it takes us!
We appreciate the interest and look forward to seeing some great roleplayers join up soon!
