Jim McQuin was a professional wrestler for many years, but grew tired of the backstage politics and the bureaucracy of the business. So after winning the World Heavyweight title for the 2nd time he decided he wanted to be a promoter. But not a wrestling promoter, no, he wanted to give the fans who paid their hard earned money something tangible, something they could believe in. The only thing that he could and would give them is mixed martial arts competition. And with the help of his friends Elite Fight Club was born.
